Checking-In: Summer 2021

We love summertime! Although we could do without Oregon Heatwave 2021, the bright, sunny skies continue to bring smiles to our faces. While we continue to proceed with caution, we are staying busy working with clients on their financial plans, as well as meeting new folks. We truly appreciate the trust our clients have in the work we do for them and the family and friends they have sent our way for help.

The H Group, Inc. – Portland

	Scott reports that he has had a relaxing and enjoyable summer despite a few particularly hot days along the way. He missed most of the big heat wave, luckily picking that period to do some sailing in the cool and refreshing SF Bay. Otherwise, he has managed to slip away for some hiking, camping and general summer stuff here in the NW.
	Fred and Amy celebrated 30 years of marriage and their daughter’s 2nd year of marriage.  Unfortunately, they also traveled to a family funeral in San Diego.  Life is precious and time is a gift.
	Jessica and family are excited to close on their new home this month!  It has been a little over a year in the making, but the finish line is officially in sight. She and Brent are hoping the heat is somewhat contained during the heavy lifting phase of the move, but they are thankful to be in before the school year starts up again.
	James, Heather and the boys escaped for a bit, post T-ball season. They made their way to the coast via Oceanside and Depoe Bay for about 10 days before traveling over to central Oregon and spending a week in Eagle Crest with grandma and grandpa. Otherwise, James and family continue to enjoy the long summer days.
