Jessica Tierney, CFP®
Jessica joined The H Group in 2017 after more than a decade in the retirement industry. She graduated from Portland State University with a bachelor of science in Mathematics and received her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in May 2012.
Jessica began her professional career with a boutique recordkeeping, administration and investment advisory firm located in Portland, Oregon. Over the course of her tenure, she worked in all facets of the company, earning various industry credentials including her Qualified 401(k) Administrator designation, from the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, and became a member of the firm’s Leadership Team in 2012. In late 2014, Jessica decided to leave her position as the Director of Financial Planning and branch out on her own, spending several years working as an independent consultant, assisting plan sponsors in the fulfillment of their fiduciary duty to evaluate their retirement plan service providers. Due to vast uncertainty in the retirement industry, with ever evolving fiduciary regulations, Jessica decided to look for future ventures outside her current field and was thrilled when the opportunity to join The H Group family presented itself.
On a personal note, Jessica grew up in Tigard and attended Tualatin High School. After high school, she spent 3 years studying electrical engineering at the University of Portland, participating in the air force ROTC program, before finishing her math degree at Portland State.
