Supporting our Albuquerque Community
In Albuquerque, we are surrounded by organizations that do amazing things. We want to show people that there are ways they can help out the community by supporting these organizations through volunteer work.
Michael Albillar is an active volunteer at the local Boy Scouts of America, an organization designed to give kids and young adults the skills they need to unlock their full potential and to live life outside. Visit scouting.org for additional information.
Doug teaches an investment class at Saranam, an innovative and transitional living program in Albuquerque, New Mexico that solves the problems that create the cycle of homelessness – poverty, lack of support, and isolation. Visit https://saranamabq.org/ for additional information. He also teaches a continuing education class for adults 50 and better at the University of New Mexico.
Mikki and Michael volunteer at the annual Balloon Festival. For additional information, visit https://balloonfiesta.com/. And collectively, we’ve donated to CLN Kids over the years. Cuidando Los Ninos (CLN) means “Taking care of the kids”. This organization provides early childhood education to the children of the homeless. Visit https://clnabq.org/ for more information.
