Scott has been making the most of the long summer days. He has been busy with some home improvement projects and has enjoyed getting out of doors for some hikes as well. He and his wife have enjoyed visiting their son in San Francisco and spending time with their daughter in Beaverton.
Jessica and family are having a great start to the summer! The kids are enjoying the reprieve from school but are keeping busy with sports. A few trips to the coast are nice additions to the mix too. Their pup Ollie is doing well, now about a year and half old he is a fully assimilated member of the family.
James and Heather continue to love life in Central Oregon with the boys. Owen and Levi wrapped up another successful baseball season and are looking forward to a road trip to Disneyland and Legoland in August!
Lindsay figured she didn’t add enough chaos to her life with the new baby this year, so she got a puppy! Butters Burton is a yellow lab mix rescue who loves snuggles and sleeping. Her oldest son Maverick is smitten with his new best friend.
Fred and family are excited for their son’s upcoming wedding in Boston. Their son, Peyton, will be marrying Grace Knox. They are excited to add another member to the King family!
Summer will find Dale, Shirley, and family at the Oregon Coast for vacation with a beach bonfire, golf, beach combing, picture taking, and perhaps crabbing or fishing. And as much “grandkids time” as possible! Professionally, Dale has attended numerous Continuing Professional Education classes with emphasis on ethical practices when working with retired clients as well as updates on Oregon and Washington state PERS retirement plans. The coordination of each client’s financial planning and investment management strategies continues even as many are actively engaged with summer activities we all look forward to.
Heather and her family spent nearly a week in the Baltimore / Annapolis area in May for the wedding of Heather’s nephew. They were honored to be included in the traditional Ghanian ceremony celebrating the joining of the two families and demonstrating their commitment to this new marriage. It was a wonderful time of celebrating and visiting with family and friends. June included a week-long trip to Northern Washington to visit Heather’s mother, and British Columbia to visit her mother-in-law and a long weekend in Redmond, OR to attend a two-day conference. The warmer summer days have given plenty of opportunity to Stand Up Paddle Board on local rivers and lakes with family and friends.
