Scott and Linden had a wonderful holiday visit to San Francisco, their grandson’s first Christmas. Scott hopes to squeeze in some sailing over the next several months once his sailboat is liberated from its dusty storage yard in Mexico!
Jessica and family are enjoying the holiday season. They spent a wonderful Thanksgiving with all the aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cut down grandma and grandma’s Christmas tree, as is the annual tradition. They all look forward to getting back together at Christmas and hope to ring in a wonderful start to the new year.
James, Heather and the boys had a wonderful holiday season in their new home. Brooks had his first birthday in November and since learning to walk soon thereafter, is unstoppable! Christmas brought new snowboards to Owen and Levi, and they’ve been “convincing” dad to get to the mountain as much as possible!
Lindsay spent the Winter celebrating the holidays with family and friends. There were lots of new baby cousins and nieces and nephews born into her family, and she is excited to welcome another baby herself in the summer.
Fred and Amy enjoyed having their children (Taylor and Peyton), in-laws (Serge and Grace), and grandchild (Beau), in Portland over the Holiday’s. We hope that everyone was able to enjoy some time with family this year.
Dale had a busy final quarter of 2024 in addition to serving client needs. He attended Board of Trustee meetings at George Fox University in October, serving as an Emeritus Trustee. November found Dale and Shirley in Southern California for Grandparents Day at the school attended by their two young granddaughters. Then back again for a few days in December to attend the school’s music theatre performance of “Seussicle”, based on Dr. Seuss children’s books. It is a joy to participate in the lives of grandkids! December brought with it six family birthdays, a wedding anniversary, and the Christmas holidays. Dale is looking forward to 2025!
After a fun but busy Thanksgiving break gathering with extended family at their home, Heather and husband enjoyed a quiet, relaxing Christmas. For the first time ever, we had Christmas dinner at a lovely downtown Portland restaurant. It certainly felt different than being at home, but we could get accustomed to a delicious dinner with no prep or clean up! This may become a new tradition!!
